This feature will allow Administration users to set specific inventory location(s) and default location(s) to account users of multi-inventory accounts.
In multi-inventory location accounts the system will, by default, give you access to all locations. The default location will be the first one on the list.
In the example below a user executing a Parts Adjustment will default to Location 1 and must use the drop down menu to select one of the other locations.
The Administrator can change a user’s access to specific locations and change the default location. Go to the Main Menu, Administration and User Administration..
Next, select an Account Name from the listing.
Click on the Edit button.
Scroll down the page to User/Location Assignment.
Select the appropriate Accessible Locations for this user by clicking in the checkbox next to the location; then use the dropdown menu to set the Default Location.
Scroll back up to the top of the page; then click on the Save Changes button.
Now, in the example below, a user executing a Parts Adjustment will default to the specified location and will only have access to those locations marked as Accessible Locations.
