Below you will find detailed information about all of the options available in X4.

A - In this section you have options that will give you access to: Selecting which system tabs (B) you would like to display; Manage Forms; Account Settings; Document Storage; Reports; eMaint University; Help Center; Support Information; Information about system version; and the option to logout of eMaint.
B - In this section you will see the eMaint system tabs, which will take you to your lists of records (Work Orders, Assets, Parts, etc).
C - The “plus” sign next to each tab will give you the option to display only the recently viewed records for each table. You will also have the option to select filters that you have previously created to help you refine your search on the listview.
D - The Arrow icon pointing to the left will hide the system tabs. Once hidden, the arrow icon will point to the right, which will allow you to display your tabs again.
E - This is where you can filter for records on your listview. Clicking the grey funnel icon next to the filter fields will give you the option to select an “Operator” to go with the value you are looking for (equal to, contains, ends with, etc). You may filter by more than one column at the same time and will also have the ability to save filters. To save filters you would need to click the funnel icon at the top right hand corner of your screen (L).
F - On the left side of each record you will have three little icons: an Arrow pointing to the right, a Checkbox and a Star.
Clicking the Arrow will give you the options from the “Actions” button of each record (e.g. on the Parts list it would give the options to make adjustments, view parts history, create a PO, etc)
Marking Checkboxes for Work Orders for example, would allow you to perform a "Group Closeout" or "Group Printout".
The Star will allow you to mark records as favorites. If you wish to only see starred items on the list view, you would need to click the star icon at the top right hand corner of your screen (K).
G - This section will allow you to view different pages with records. You also have the option to select how many records you want to see per page (5, 10, 20, 50 or 100). On the right side you will see the total amount of records that are being displayed (this amount will change based on the filter that is being used).
H - Here you find a menu for the whole system. It will give you access to all the options that were on the navigation screen of eMaint’s previous version.

icon to change layout options, font sizes and the color/theme of your X4 screen; the /1720-07.png)
icon to collapse/hide your system tabs displayed on right side of the screen; and click the /1720-08.png)
icon to open the sidebar that will give you access to the 3 following areas: 1 - A list of recently viewed records; 2 - The Wall (displays notifications about activities on starred items); and 3 - The Explorer (Allows you to group your Data to see the records broken down and separated by the values in the fields of your choosing).
J -The “Actions” section will give you the ability to: Select or Deselect all records in the list; Mass Change Values; and Export Data. Different tables will have additional Actions: In the WO table you have the options to Close selected WOs; and Print selected WOs; In the PMs Table you have the options to see Annual Projections and Generate PM WOs; and In the Assets Table you have the option to Distribute PM’s.

icon is the “Manage Table Relations”, which allows you to join tables to your list views (e.g. You can join the “Charges” table to WO list in order to see the total charges for each work order); the /1720-12.png)
to save new filters as well as to modify and/or delete filters; the /1720-13.png)
to select what fields you want to sort your list by (you may now sort your list by multiple fields); the /1720-14.png)
icon to select what columns you want to display on the listview; the /1720-15.png)
icon to reset any filters/sorts/column orders made by the user; the /1720-16.png)
icon to view only the records you have marked as favorites; and the /1720-17.png)
to switch it to full screen within the browser (collapses the system tabs and the options on the very top of the screen).
L - In this section you will be able to select which of your saved filters you would like to use.
2 - VoiceCommand
X4 has voice Command Capabilities. To activate and use this feature, you will need to:
A - Click the Microphone icon at the top right hand portion of the screen.
B - The Browser will then ask you to “Allow” the use of your Microphone, so you will need to do so.
C - Then, to learn how to use this feature, click on See Commands”, then read the instructions. If you already know how to use it, just click “Close Popup”.

Once activated you can start navigating X4 by voice. In the example below, we were looking at the Work Orders list, then we used the voice command “Show Assets” to be taken to the asset list.

2.1 - VoiceCommandInstructions
'show' then say the *table* you want to go to. For example "showworkorders" or "showassets"
'mute' - mutes all sound effects for the theme.
'soundon' - unmutes all sound effects for the theme.
'stop' - deactivates voice command.
'help' - brings up the command list
'gotit' - closes help modal
'hidenavigation' - toggle navigation collapse
'shownavigation' - toggle navigation to open (can be used again to close)
'tablescrollup','tablescrolldown' - scrolls table one page up/down.
'nextpage','previouspage','firstpage','lastpage' - redirects selected table to the page requested
'gotopageXXX' - redirects selected table to the page number XXX. For Example "go to page one hundred twenty three" will redirect the table to page number 123.
'itemsperpageXXX' - set up grid to show XXX items per page. For Example "items per page fifty" will set up 50 records per page.
'showrecordnumberXXX' - opens record number XXX. For Example "show record number seventy eight" will open a record with ID=78.
'opensidebar' , 'closesidebar' - opens and hides the right panel
'openthewall' - opens the side bar and goes directly to the wall tab
'logout' - logs you out of X4
