Release of eMaint Version 11.2.7
We are pleased to announce an update to eMaint, Version 11.2.7. The update will be released Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 at 7:30am ET (6:30am CT, 5:30am MT, 4:30am PT, 11:30am GMT, 12:30pm CET), and will be completed by 9:30am ET (8:30am CT, 7:30am MT, 6:30am PT, 1:30pm GMT, 2:30pm CET). eMaint users will experience no downtime during the update.
[New Feature] Asset Reservation - Does your organization often experience conflicts with double-booking vehicles, rooms, or other assets? The Asset Reservation feature in eMaint X4 allows users (standard and work requestors) to reserve assets for specific time windows. Once approved, other users won’t be able to reserve the same asset at conflicting times.
Asset reservation request history will be tracked at the asset level on a “Reservations Requests” related table. Requestors will receive an email notification when their request is approved or rejected. Once submitted, asset reservation requests can be viewed on a user-friendly calendar that visually shows approved, rejected and pending requests.
[New Feature] Work Permit Management - Managing your work permits just got easier with eMaint X4! Users now have the ability to store work permits on work order records, and edit them on an all-new built-in online PDF document editor.
All work permits will be stored on a new “Work Permit Master File” table, and can also be accessed on a related table on the work order record called “Work Permits.” Simply upload a PDF work permit form to your eMaint account, and use the document editor tools to add text, check marks, a signature, and more.
Once a work permit document is completed, a checkbox will automatically be updated, and a PDF of the completed document will be attached to the work order record. This empowers management to easily oversee the completion of work permits.
[New Feature] Offline Mobile App - Do you (or anyone else on your team) perform work in the field without access to the internet? With eMaint’s all-new offline mobile app, technicians can access their work orders, log labor hours and notes, record when work is completed, and enter condition monitoring readings without being connected to the internet. Once the user is able to get back online, they can simply hit “Upload Data,” and the updates will be synced to their eMaint account.
The offline mobile app is available for Professional and Enterprise level eMaint clients, and is an additional fee per user. The app is compatible with devices running on Windows 10, and will soon be available for download for free on the Microsoft app store. Please contact your Customer Success Manager is you’re interested in taking advantage of this new feature.
[Enhancement] Field Entry Validation - A new configuration has been introduced that will enforce validation on multiple fields of information that exist on other tables of data. For example, a user filling out a work request could be forced to input a correct ID, name, and phone number that matches what is stored on their contact record in order to successfully save the record.
[Enhancement] Customize Mobile Add Meter Reading Form - Users with rights to manage forms will now have the ability to create a mobile form within the Meter table, enabling them to add fields to the default meter entry form.
[Bug Fix] - Charge Entry Respecting “Required” Fields - Fields added to the charges form by users which are then marked as “required” will now be respected, and the record will not allow saving without a value in the field.
[Bug Fix] - Decimal Display Issue in Related Table List View - When viewing the list view of a related table, users will now be able to see numeric values display beyond two decimal places if they have been configured to do so.
[Bug Fix] - Report Error - An issue was found that caused reports that returned no data, and had been configured to display with a group band, to return an error. This has now been resolved and the report will now generate as a blank page.
[Bug Fix] - Exporting from PM Generation Screen - While in the manual Generate PM’s screen, users have the options under the Actions menu to export records. Previously, when selecting one of these option, an error would occur. This has now been resolved and users will be able to successfully export the current list of PM records from this screen.
[Bug Fix] - Part Reorder List Email Notification - An update was made to prompt the system to send the Part Reorder List Email Notification when a part charge was made automatically when tied to a PM schedule.
[Bug Fix] - “Allow Admin to Re-open Closed Work Order” Fix - When “editing of closed work orders” is disabled within an account, an admin user can now re-open a closed a work order if the setting “Allow admin user to re-open work orders” is enabled.
[Bug Fix] - Multiple Drill Down Lookups - An update was made to allow forms to contain two separate drill down configurations that reference the same table and function without issue.
[Bug Fix] - Decimal Separator Language Issue - Languages that use commas as a decimal separator were experiencing issues with how numeric values were being saved. These issues have been resolved and numeric values should now be saved and displayed properly in all eMaint X4 languages.
