Users can be allowed to run reports only or they can be granted additional permission within the Query Builder to manipulate other reports. The permissions are available in the User Administration account page for each individual user under Reports (see below).
- If a user has Access File privileges, they will be able to run all public reports.
- If a user has Add Records privileges, he will be able to create their own reports. Creation also entitles the user to copy public reports. Because the user created the reports, the user will have complete control over his own reports, including deleting them.
- Edit and Delete privileges will allow the user to edit or delete any public query that is not marked read only.
- Create and Edit Calculated fields allows custom field types to be created and edited.
